anything for free stuff!!!
I’m REALLY excited about today’s post – just by including to link to a particular site I could win myself over a grand’s worth of Glenfiddich whiskey!!!
And what’s more, so could you if you choose to enter the competition as well!!!
WOO-HOO!!! PAR-TAY!!!
Oh, wait, hang on.
Maybe I should have read Curly K’s post a little more thoroughly…
Right – maybe I was a bit hasty getting excited about the scotch, but in reality the prize is even better than that!
OK … the winner gets a weekend of something called “Luxury Self Catering”, to the value of €1175 at the GlenGARRIFF Lodge in West Cork.
Definitely NOT to be sneezed at!
WOO-HOO!!! PAR-TAY!!!
So it seems all that is left for me to do here is tag a couple of other bloggers as per the rules, (I have chosen Shan and The Swearing Lady in the hope that they might be tempted back into blogging) and then I can finish off the post with some copy/pasted info about the location itself.
Just so long as everyone knows I’m going to win, of course…

A former hunting lodge of the Earls of Bantry and situated on its own private island in the Glengarriff River, this thatched haven offers a rare opportunity to enjoy an absolutely pristine setting in complete privacy and comfort.
The Lodge was completely renovated in 2006 and now boasts a tasteful combination of historic charm and modern luxury, with accommodation for up to eight people in four double bedrooms with three ensuite.
Whether you enjoy experimenting with local artisan foods in the well equipped, hand crafted kitchen or gazing at the river from the conservatory, or simply luxuriating in front of a roaring log fire, this unique hideaway will satisfy completely.

Hmmm... I never trust these things JL. They say unless there's a minimum of 25 entries the competition will continue indefinitely... hmmm..... what's the catch? Or are they just wanting to up their something on the internet? Who knows? Best of luck
Ah here ya little bollix, I only tagged ya in this so I could win - withdraw your claim to the prize forthwith!!!
While unlikely that I would win (assuming, as ainelivia implied, that there will be a winner), or that I would be able to visit the lodge, I do admire your taste in single malts.
Glenfiddich is one of my two favorites.
Good luck, Mr. P.
